Lynn is a UK based research optometrist with over 30 year of experience in all aspects of the optical industry. She ran her own practices for 20 years before spending 14 years in the contact lens industry. She is an international lecturer with extensive experience in developing supporting marketing and training material for new products.

 

In 2014, she was supervisor of an Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership between UltraVision and University of Liverpool School of Engineering. This collaboration, which was rated as "outstanding" developed a software suite to model soft contact lens behaviour on eye both in general and for individual eyes.

As an Research Optometrist, she has experience in project management, contact lens design, manufacturing, clinical evaluation and the regulatory aspects of bringing new medical devices and products to market while being involved with ongoing research related to the contact lens sector.
